Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd, Preston, is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction consultancy with a strong focus on residential and affordable housing projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a supportive team.

You will provide cost management services across social housing schemes, prepare cost estimates and Bills of Quantities, assist with contract administration, and support Employer's Agent duties while liaising with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in social housing or affordable housing is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and cost management processes.
• Experience undertaking Employer's Agent duties would be advantageous.
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management services across social and affordable housing projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Assist with preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Undertake contract administration and support project delivery.
• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of Employer's Agent services where required.
