Job summary

London Gatwick is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team. You will develop cost plans and estimates for projects up to £10 million, supporting senior colleagues on larger schemes, with a focus on delivering value for passengers.

The role is office-first hybrid: three days in the office and two days remote, with a flexible, collaborative culture that values work-life balance and career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cost engineer, contract management or commercial role within construction or infrastructure.
• Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience with web-based contract management tools (e.g. Cemar).
• Understanding NEC and JCT contract suites and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost plans and estimates for projects up to £10 million.
• Manage project budget and ensure value for money.
• Handle contract communications including Early Warnings, instructions and compensation events.
• Support tendering, evaluation and procurement strategy.
