Job summary

Anderselite Ltd is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for an established main contractor's new-build housing team in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. You’ll take commercial responsibility across housing projects, including procuring subcontract packages, valuations and reporting.

The role is permanent, with relocation encouraged for candidates based in London or the South East. Benefits include enhanced annual leave, pension, ULEV car lease, cycle-to-work, and more.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor on new-build housing projects.
• At least three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline, alongside a CSCS card would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procuring and managing subcontract packages, assessing applications and issuing payment notices.
• Preparing monthly valuations and agreeing final accounts.
• Producing internal valuations, CVRs and subcontract liability reports.
• Measuring work from drawings and on site, valuing variations and managing contractual change.
• Working with project teams to manage delays, control costs and minimise commercial risk.
