Job summary

Fawkes & Reece in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Leeds-based team with hybrid working. You will manage financials and commercial aspects on a portfolio of new build housing and refurbishment schemes across the region.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying and proven experience delivering projects under NEC and JCT forms. You will mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and collaborate with clients and the project team to maximise value and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects under NEC and JCT Forms of Contract.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong general construction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Regular financial reporting; processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream and managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team.
• Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders; mentoring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to hub growth.
• Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving new build housing schemes.

Role: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £50K/£60K + Package

Are you a Quantity Surveyor thinking about a fresh start and looking to work for a leading regional contractor who have secured a healthy pipeline of projects for 2026/2027?

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join my clients growing Yorkshire team based in Leeds with Hybrid working available. As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within an established commercial team, supporting them on various new build and refurbishment schemes throughout the West Yorkshire region.

Duties of a Quantity Surveyor:

Your day to day will include:

• Regular financial reporting; processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream and managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team.
• Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders will be crucial, including mentoring/managing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth of the hub
• Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving new build housing schemes.
