Job summary

Foresight Search Ltd is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a major roofing and cladding package at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. The role offers a base around £45,000 plus the Hinkley uplift and a package that includes accommodation and subsistence, with site-based working.

You would join a specialist contractor delivering high-profile projects across the UK and develop towards autonomous QS duties under an experienced team.

Qualifications

• A few years' commercial experience within construction.
• Completed, or near completion, a QS apprenticeship or graduate scheme.
• QS qualification or relevant equivalent.
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project budgets, revenue and costs.
• Prepare project cashflow forecasts.
• Complete valuations and applications for payment.
• Procuring and managing subcontractors and paying invoices.
• Produce monthly commercial and financial reports and assist final accounts.
