Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team in Dungeness. You will support the contract delivery team to ensure profitability, cash management and accurate reporting as part of Aureos Highways Business Unit.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will contribute to CVRs, forecasts, cost control and timely payment applications, gaining experience across the business and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree educated (or HND/HNC equivalent).
• Working towards Professional Qualification (preferred).
• Experience in contracting commercial departments, preferably in power industry.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with application and credit control processes.
• Understand income forecast and pricing of scope changes.
• Understand change control system and project risks.
• Assist with cost-to-complete/budget reviews with contract delivery teams.
• Review weekly site records, allocate costs and attend progress meetings.
• Assist with monthly financial performance reporting.
