Job summary

The Royal Parks is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor for a 2-year fixed-term contract to manage costs across a range of historic park projects in London. The role focuses on cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration to ensure value and compliance.

You will prepare cost plans, monitor financial performance, and liaise between clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver high-quality public space projects within Hyde Park and other royal parks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost estimations, contract administration and procurement.
• Knowledge and experience of NEC3/4 contract administration.
• Strong cost planning, benchmarking and value engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage costs across construction and maintenance projects for The Royal Parks.
• Provide expert cost estimation, budgeting, procurement and contract management across projects.
• Prepare detailed cost plans, schedules of works and bills of quantities; monitor budgets.
