Job summary

Quantity Surveyor Healthcare / Commercial is sought by S Guest Consultancy Services Ltd in Leicestershire. You will manage the commercial side of a varied project portfolio, from pre-start to final account, with a focus on healthcare and commercial schemes.

The role is office-based, permanent and full-time with salary up to £55,000 DOE plus a package. The successful candidate will have main contractor QS experience, strong knowledge of JCT contracts, and excellent cost reporting skills.

Qualifications

• QS with a main contractor background.
• Healthcare and/or commercial project experience is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Organised, commercially aware and a good communicator.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial side of multiple projects from pre-start to final account.
• Procure subcontract packages and place orders.
• Prepare monthly valuations and applications for payment.
• Value subcontractor applications and issue payment notices.
• Managing variations, change control and cost reporting.
• Producing cost-value reconciliations (CVRs) and forecasts.
• Agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Contracts Managers and site teams.
