Job summary

Trevett Project Services requires a freelance Quantity Surveyor for a home-based role in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on fit-out and refurb projects with M&E elements and governs the commercial aspects from procurement through to final account. Occasional visits will be required.

Initially 3 months with a strong possibility of extension. Key responsibilities include procurement management, subcontractor tendering, valuations, cost reporting and forecasting, and close collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience with M&E fit-out projects and refurbishments.
• Ability to manage procurement and subcontractor packages.
• Experience preparing and managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and payments.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Managing variations, change control and compensation events.

• Managing commercial relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Supporting the resolution of contractual and commercial matters.
• Contributing to the successful commercial delivery of the project.

Freelance Quantity Surveyor required for a 'home based' role for initialyy a 3 month period.

You will be working on Fit-out and refurb projects with M&E elements so having experience and being familiar with M&E will be required.
