Job summary

Vistry Cornwall South West is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our Exeter office. You will manage costs, procurement, subcontract administration, monthly payments and final accounts to maximise value while maintaining quality.

You will work with internal teams across Land, Development and Construction, attending meetings to advise on cost implications and support budget control. A strong housing development background and IT/analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent.
• Residential housing developer experience is preferred.
• Strong IT, analytical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all costs related to projects and optimise margin and value.
• Handle procurement, subcontract administration, payments and final accounts.
• Attend design and development meetings to advise on costs and implications.
• Prepare tender lists, cost analyses and stage payment schedules.
• Monitor budgets, analyse costs and control subcontractor payments.
