Job summary

Sphere Solutions in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to lead commercial aspects on refurbishment projects. You will price works, prepare tenders, and drive profitability from the outset, taking ownership of cost control across assigned schemes.

The role covers NHS, education, MOD and university projects; you will manage cost reporting, valuations, variations, and cash flow, while liaising with clients and project teams to deliver commercial success.

Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Plymouth | Permanent | £70,000-£75,000 + Car / Allowance

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join an established regional contractor in Plymouth and take the commercial lead across a range of refurbishment projects.

Working across NHS, education, MOD and university projects, you will be involved from initial pricing and tender through to final account.

The Role

About You

We're looking for a commercially strong QS / Estimator with experience in refurbishment or building projects, who is confident pricing works and taking ownership of the commercial side of projects.

Experience within public sector, NHS, education, MOD or university environments would be advantageous.
