Sphere Solutions are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator for a North Devon-based, permanent role. A salary of £55,000 plus excellent benefits is on offer, with projects typically ranging from £1m to £10m in value.

The role involves preparing estimates, supporting tenders, reviewing drawings, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and monitoring costs and payments. A strong background in QS/estimating and cost control is essential.

Formación

• Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and Estimating within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, cost planning and financial control.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience using 4PS Construct would be advantageous, training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects.

Sphere Solutions are working with a successful construction company in North Devon to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their established contracting team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering a varied portfolio of commercial construction projects, typically valued between £1m and £2m, with larger schemes reaching £10m.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects.
• Supporting tender submissions and working closely with the bid team.
• Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
