Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join the Transmission team on a major £100m project between Galashiels and Kelso. The role will be Bathgate-based initially with site visits increasing as the project progresses.

You will work within a major project environment, gaining exposure to the commercial management of large-scale transmission infrastructure, and NEC experience would be advantageous for career development.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience within a construction or infrastructure environment.
• Strong commercial, analytical and numerical skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• An understanding of cost control, budgeting and financial management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A willingness to develop their experience within the Energy & Transmission sector.
• NEC experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
