Job summary

Fortis Search is partnering with an established construction consultancy in Leeds to recruit a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team, delivering cost management services across retail and real estate sectors.

You will prepare cost plans, estimates and tender documents; manage procurement, valuations and final accounts; monitor budgets and risks; collaborate with clients, contractors and project teams from inception to completion. MRICS is desirable.

Qualifications

• An accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong cost-management and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost management and quantity surveying services across projects.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender docs and cost reports.
• Manage procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, identify commercial risks and cost control.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Contribute to delivery from inception through to completion.
