Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Good knowledge of cost control, valuations, procurement and contract administration.
• Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and negotiations.
• Assess variations, claims and commercial risks.
• Administer NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Monitor project expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
