Job summary

HLP Consulting seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fire safety and remedial works to join a specialist contractor team in EN5 area. You will oversee commercial management of complex remediation projects, including cost planning, budgeting and procurement management.

The role requires proven QS experience in fire remediation, knowledge of fire safety upgrade programmes and familiarity with JCT contracts and subcontractor management.

Quantity Surveyor - Fire & Remedial Works

Location: EN5

Salary: 75K ish

HLP Consulting is working with a specialist contractor seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fire safety and remedial works.

This position requires someone who understands the commercial management of complex building remediation projects, ideally including fire safety upgrades, external wall remediation and associated building works.

• Commercial management of fire safety and remedial works projects
• Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
• Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments
• Assessing variations and preparing final accountsManaging commercial risks and contractual obligations

Experience required
