Wates are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction Team in the Westfocussing on high profile, technically complex projects based around Liverpool / Merseyside.

As our Quantity Surveyor you will take ownership for the development and implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting.

You will collaborate with customers and industry specialists with a firm focus on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering pre- and post-contract commercial strategies.
• Accountable for own work packages or projects.
• Collaborates with customers and industry specialists with a focus on value, viability and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement subcontract strategies and tender approaches.
• Maximise project cashflow through effective subcontract package management.
• Contribute to procurement strategies and issue tender enquiries and subcontract orders.
