Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Essential: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in engineering, construction or heavy industrial sectors.
• Essential: Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC and other standard contract forms.
• Essential: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Essential: Excellent commercial awareness with negotiation and analytical skills.
• Essential: Proficient in Excel and commercial management software.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for multiple concurrent engineering and construction projects.
• Produce accurate monthly CVRs and commercial reports.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Maximise project profitability through effective commercial management and contract administration.
• Manage change control processes, including valuation of variations and compensation events.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Mentor and support Assistant Quantity Surveyors and junior staff.
• Provide commercial input during planning, risk management and tender reviews.

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying

Quantities Surveyor experience

Knowledge of JCT

Knowledge of NEC

Experience managing multiple projects

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying
