Job summary

A leading cladding and roofing contractor based in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and commercial delivery of multiple cladding and roofing projects, working closely with Commercial and Operations teams.

The role is predominantly office-based with regular site visits. Applicants should hold an HND/BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or related field, possess strong commercial

Qualifications

• HND, BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support Estimators throughout tender process, including tender negotiations.
• Prepare and analyse project costings covering materials, quantities, labour and programme.
• Negotiate contracts, work schedules and commercial terms.
• Monitor subcontractor applications and payments.
• Manage project costs, valuations and commercial reporting.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor payments from main contractors and resolve payment issues.
• Lead and negotiate final accounts through to agreement.
