Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand project requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Monitor financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct cost reporting and analysis to keep projects on budget.
- Assess and manage project risks related to costs and contracts.
- Advise on procurement and contractual matters.
- Support value engineering to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
- Manage payment applications and change orders.
- Maintain accurate cost records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in construction and civil engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management.
- Proficiency in relevant software.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, or similar) is advantageous.
