Position Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in project cost management, financial control, and supporting successful project execution. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to advance their career with a leading industry player.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand project requirements.
  2. Prepare cost estimates and budgets, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  3. Monitor financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  4. Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  5. Conduct cost reporting and analysis to keep projects on budget.
  6. Assess and manage project risks related to costs and contracts.
  7. Advise on procurement and contractual matters.
  8. Support value engineering to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
  9. Manage payment applications and change orders.
  10. Maintain accurate cost records and documentation.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience in construction and civil engineering sectors.
  3. Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management.
  4. Proficiency in relevant software.
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to work independently and in teams.
  8. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  9. Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, or similar) is advantageous.
