Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on civils and infrastructure projects across the UK. You will provide commercial support to project teams, control costs, report on cash flow and manage subcontractor and supplier engagements.

Essential experience includes a degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, strong communication and numeracy, and familiarity with contract forms such as ICE/NEC.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills.
• Organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative.
• HND/degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support to project teams and maintain accurate commercial information.
• Manage cost control, forecasting, and value recovery.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers on variations, claims and payments.
• Support governance, reporting, and procurement under contract terms.
