Sizewell C Company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) Commercial team. You will support cost management, valuations, procurement and reporting for the Sizewell C project, ensuring delivery within budget and governance frameworks.

Applicants should have a Quantity Surveying degree, strong analytical skills and experience in civil engineering or infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Experience in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of standard forms of contract, including NEC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience managing costs, valuations, variations and reporting
• Membership of, or working towards membership of, RICS, CIOB or similar body is desirable

Quantity Surveyor (261037) Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within theEnabling and Earthwork Section.

What will you do?

We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of major civil engineering and construction works.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QS who wants to develop their career on a nationally significant project while working alongside industry-leading professionals.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of construction activities, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to manage costs, contract administration and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a commercially aware professional who enjoys working collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment.

You'll ideally have:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous experience in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of standard forms of contract, including NEC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing costs, valuations, variations and reporting.
• Membership of, or working towards membership of, RICS, CIOB or a similar professional body is desirable.
