Job summary

Foster & May Limited seeks an Associate Quantity Surveyor to lead Bills of Quantities production on a UK-wide portfolio of projects. You will measure and draft Bills using CostX, aligned with SMM7/NRM, and mentor a team of Take-off Surveyors.

The role is suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong measurement skills, SMM7/NRM2 experience, and a background in cost management across diverse schemes.

Qualifications

• Ideally completed a construction related degree.
• Experienced in producing bills of quantities.
• Good measurement experience.
• Cost X knowledge/experience would be useful.
• SMM7 and/or NRM2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop a team of Take-off Surveyors / Bills of Quantities specialists.
• Produce Bills of Quantities and measurements for high-profile projects.
• Utilise CostX to measure and produce Bills of Quantities in SMM7/NRM.

Job description

A UK wide construction consultancy are seeking an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor / Take-off Surveyor who is a specialist in producing high-level, Bills of Quantities.

The Associate Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will be using CostX to measure and produce Bills of Quantities in SMM7 and NRM, on array of high-profile projects across a diverse portfolio.

Alongside producing Bills of Quantities, the new Associate Quantity Surveyor will also be involved in mentoring and developing a team of Take-off Surveyors / Bills of Quantities specialists.

The Associate Quantity Surveyor

• Ideally completed a construction related degree
• Experienced in producing bills of quantities
• Good measurement experience
• Cost X knowledge/experience would be useful
• SMM7 and/or NRM2 experience
