Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Stone, Staffordshire, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs for building and civil engineering projects from initial estimates to final accounts.

You'll prepare tender costing, control budgets, advise on procurement, and support contractual claims while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and experience on large-scale projects are required.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proven experience as Quantity Surveyor on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of construction costs, procurement and contract law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work independently and in a team.
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) desirable.

The opportunity

As Quantity Surveyor at Hitachi Energy you are part of a team of catalysts for a sustainable future. The demand for energy sector infrastructure is rapidly increasing, we are looking to add a member to our team that is fully focused on managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.

How you'll make an impact

Your background
