Job summary

A West London private main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead procurement, tendering and subcontract account management across multiple live sites, with projects up to £15m.

You will prepare cost reports, CVRs and monthly valuations, support the Senior QS on forecasting, and attend site meetings to liaise with delivery teams and control costs.

This role requires a main contracting background and 5–10 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Main contracting background essential.
• 5-10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS.
• Strong procurement and cost reporting capability.
• Confident managing subcontractor accounts and cost control independently.

This is a growing main contractor based in West London, delivering residential and mixed-use projects across the South East — from office-to-resi conversions to new build schemes up to £15m.

You'll play a key commercial role within a small, established team — leading on procurement, cost reporting, and subcontract management across multiple live sites.

The Role

Manage commercial duties across multiple residential projects (up to £15m).

• Lead procurement, tendering, and subcontract account management
• Prepare cost reports, CVRs, and monthly valuations
• Support the Senior QS and Commercial Consultant on financial forecasting
• Attend site meetings and liaise with delivery teams to track progress and costs

What They're Looking For

Main contracting background (essential)

• 5-10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS
• Strong procurement and cost reporting capability
• Confident managing subcontractor accounts and cost control independently
• Solid technical understanding of residential construction
