MTR Partnership in Leeds is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work directly with clients on varied projects, from feasibility to final accounts. The role focuses on cost management, procurement andEffective cost control within a dynamic consultancy environment.

The successful candidate will have extensive QS experience in construction, be comfortable with pre- and post-contract duties, and ideally hold MRICS or be progressing toward chartership.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or main contractor
• Good understanding of pre-contract and post-contract QS duties
• Experience across general building, new build or refurbishment projects
• Knowledge of JCT contracts and procurement processes
• Confident dealing directly with clients and managing multiple projects
• MRICS or progress towards chartership would be advantageous

Responsabilités

Looking for a Quantity Surveyor role where you can work directly with clients, get involved in projects from the early stages and take on more responsibility?

We’re recruiting for an established construction consultancy looking to strengthen its Leeds team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The business provides cost management, project management and contract administration services across commercial, industrial, retail and refurbishment projects.

The Role;

• Provide quantity surveying and cost management services across multiple projects
• Prepare feasibility estimates, cost plans and project budgets
• Manage tender documentation, procurement and contractor evaluations
• Oversee valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts
• Monitor project expenditure and provide financial updates to clients
