Job summary

CPR Recruitment is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for a growing Design & Build contractor based in East Kent, delivering workplace, hospitality and retail projects across London and the South East. You will manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Essential Commercial Fit-Out and Design & Build experience.
• Experience managing projects from procurement through to final account.
• Strong understanding of valuations, variations, CVRs and cost reporting.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

THE OPPORTUNITY

CPXR is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, award-winning Design & Build contractor based in East Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with Commercial Fit-Out and Design & Build experience looking to join a successful business delivering high-quality workplace, hospitality and retail projects across London and the South East.

The role will involve managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and clients.

THE ROLE

• Prepare valuations, variations and monthly CVRs
• Procure subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project budgets, costs and cashflow
• Negotiate subcontractor packages and final accounts

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor

• Experience managing projects from procurement through to final account

• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
