Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor for office fit-out projects in London and the South East. The role offers hybrid working, on-site presence 2–3 days per week, and the chance to work on high-profile schemes valued over £10 million.

You will manage commercial aspects from pre-construction to final account, with a salary of £50,000–£60,000 plus a competitive package and car allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
• Strong background delivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects.
• Experience working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes.
• Demonstrable pricing and estimating capability.
• Experience managing projects with values exceeding £10 million.
• Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of office fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, valuations, and forecasts.
• Pricing and tendering works packages.
• Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontractor accounts.
• Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Managing variations, change control processes, and contractual matters.
• Producing accurate financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and highly regarded specialist contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East.
