Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our established civil engineering contractor team delivering infrastructure and ground engineering projects across the UK. The role focuses on supporting commercial delivery from procurement through final account within a growing business.

Work is hybrid with a supportive commercial team, and opportunities for career progression across a long-term secured project pipeline. Applicants should have NEC experience and a UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• Background within ground engineering, piling, rail, highways, utilities or wider civil engineering projects is advantageous.
• Strong communication and commercial skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs and commercial performance.
• Procuring and managing subcontractors.
• Preparing valuations, applications and final accounts.
• Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events.
• Producing cost reports, forecasts and CVRs.
• Managing change control and commercial risk.
• Working closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability.
• Building and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.
