A leading global consulting firm seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join its Newcastle team. The role involves advisory services on high-value projects, requiring RICS membership and expertise in cost estimation and management. The successful candidate will engage with diverse stakeholders while contributing to innovative solutions in various sectors, including residential and government property.
Tetra Tech’s Cost Consultancy is responsible for some of the most strategically important projects in the UK. We provide our clients with high quality cost advice on the capital and whole life cost of their buildings with an increasing focus on carbon reduction. Due to our continued success in securing major projects in the north-east we have identified a need for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Based in our Newcastle team, you will become an important part of a high-performance multi-disciplinary team utilising the latest technology to deliver cost advice to design colleagues and our clients. There are opportunities to work within the Residential, Defence and Government Property sectors.
The Role
You will work closely with other TT regional offices,forging strong working relationships internally and externally with our clients, becoming part of their integrated project teams. You’ll be involved in a large portfolio of exciting development opportunities ranging from private to public sector, small scale to in excess of £100m and from feasibility and assessment stage through to completion. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a wider thriving team, enhancing your existing skill set and ensuring your role and responsibilities remain diverse.
