Job summary

Lemon Drizzle Recruitment has partnered with a Newcastle upon Tyne-based construction cost consultancy to recruit a Chartered/Senior Quantity Surveyor. This hybrid role offers exposure to a diverse healthcare portfolio and the autonomy to drive projects from inception to completion.

Ideal candidates will have MRICS (or be working towards chartership), strong client relationships, and the confidence to lead pre- and post-contract QS services while collaborating with Directors for strategic

Who Am I Looking For?

Ideally, you'll be an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in construction cost consultancy.

You'll be confident managing projects independently, comfortable delivering both pre and post-contract services and someone who enjoys building strong relationships with clients.

MRICS accreditation would be fantastic, although I'd also be interested in speaking with experienced Quantity Surveyors who are currently working towards chartership.

Above all, I'm looking for someone who's commercially astute, personable, proactive and genuinely interested in building a long-term career with a business that will support their ambitions.

You don't necessarily need to be a Senior Quantity Surveyor already. If you're an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who's ready for more responsibility and looking for that next step, I'd be equally interested in having a conversation.
