Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its established civil engineering contractor team. The role delivers infrastructure and ground engineering projects across the UK, supporting commercial delivery from procurement through to final account.

You will be part of an experienced commercial team, developing your career while overseeing project costs, subcontractor procurement, valuations, and NEC contract administration.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Experience in ground engineering, piling, rail, highways, utilities or wider civil projects is advantageous.
• Strong communication and commercial skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established specialist civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and ground engineering projects across the UK.

Working within an experienced commercial team, you'll be responsible for supporting the commercial delivery of projects from procurement through to final account while developing your career within a growing business.

• Managing project costs and commercial performance.
• Procuring and managing subcontractors.
• Preparing valuations, applications and final accounts.
• Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events.
• Producing cost reports, forecasts and CVRs.
• Managing change control and commercial risk.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• Background within ground engineering, piling, rail, highways, utilities or wider civil engineering projects is advantageous.
• Strong communication and commercial skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
