Job summary

TS Recruitment is working with a regional civils and earthworks contractor who are looking to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor to commercial manage 3-4 projects at one time. Visit sites to carry out valuations and variations, approve subcontractors, and procure materials while keeping budgets.

The role offers a competitive salary (£55,000 to £65,000), a car allowance or company car, and 32 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in civils or earthworks.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Forward thinking and dynamic.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites to carry out valuations and variations.
• Approve and pay all subcontractors.
• Procure materials for sites.
• Ensure sites are within budget.
• Complete cost value reports.
• Present to the Commercial Manager and support through final accounts.
