Job summary

TS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for Civils/Earthworks projects based in Alfreton. You will commercially manage 3-4 projects, performing valuations, variations and subcontract payments while ensuring budgets are met.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a standard 8 am to 5:30 pm schedule and potential for some flexible site visits or work-from-home days. Competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years' experience in civils or earthworks.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Forward thinking and dynamic.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites to carry out valuations and variations.
• Approve and pay all subcontractors.
• Procure materials for sites.
• Ensure sites are within budget.
• Complete cost value reports.
• Present to the Commercial Manager and support through final accounts.

TS Recruitment is working with a regional civils and earthworks contractor who are looking to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor to commercial manage 3-4 projects at one time.
