Job summary

Aqua Consultants Ltd. seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the commercial team of surveyors.

The role involves home-based work with hybrid options, covering Aqua clients across the North and Midlands of England, liaising daily with clients and contractors to enable effective project management. You will assist Senior QS in managing projects from inception to completion, lead client meetings, and manage multiple projects with NEC contracts, cost reporting, and final

Qualifications

• NEC3/4 knowledge is essential.
• Project cost management skills including organisation and diligence.
• Water industry or wider utilities experience preferred.
• Working towards MRICS / MCICES is desirable.

• Assist Senior QS in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Be the focal point of contact for the client and inspire confidence.
• Manage infrastructure projects ideally using the NEC form of contract.
• Estimating and cost planning.
• Procurement advice.
• Contract administration and cost control.
• Cost reporting.
• Final account preparation.
• Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
• Client facing and confident in leading meetings.
• Managing and taking lead on multiple projects for clients.

Job description

Location: Predominately home based, but role will cover Aqua clients across the North and the Midlands of England.

The role will be based either at home / hybrid or at Aqua Consultants’ Offices or key client offices, supporting the commercial team of surveyors in the delivery of key frameworks and key projects. It will involve liaising with both clients and contractors on a daily basis, to enable effective management of the projects.
