Job summary

AMB Recruitment Group is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy commercial team in the North West. You will manage costs across maintenance, refurbishment and building fabric projects with a focus on MTC and SOR pricing, valuations and final accounts.

The role requires handling high-volume workstreams, strong commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management, with a UK Driving Licence and a clear path for career progression within a growing, financially stable

Qualifications

• Essential: Measured Term Contract (MTC) and Schedule of Rates (SOR) experience.
• Experience in construction, building maintenance, refurbishment or building fabric projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Quantity Surveyor

A growing and well-established building maintenance and projects contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the business, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to join a company that can offer long-term stability, varied projects and genuine progression opportunities.

The Role

Working closely with the commercial and operational teams, you will be responsible for managing costs across a high volume of maintenance, refurbishment and building fabric projects from initial pricing through to final account.

Due to the nature of the work, previous Measured Term Contract (MTC) and Schedule of Rates (SOR) experience is essential. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing high-volume workstreams and have a strong understanding of pricing and valuation within a Measured Term environment.
