Job summary

O'Brien Moran and Co. Ltd, based in West Sussex with works all over the UK, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy civil engineering team.

The role requires experience in earthworks, concrete works, drainage, roads and 278 works, with responsibilities including take-off, BOQ preparation, procurement, subcontract management, valuations, variations and CVR. You will report to the MD and work directly with the commercial side of the business, contributing to project commercial success and

• Experience in civil engineering essential.
• Clear understanding of earthworks, concrete works, drainage, roads and 278 works.
• Take off and BOQ preparation, procurement, sub contract management, valuations, variations and CVR.

Responsibilities

• Report to MD and work with the commercial side of the business.
• Manage procurement, valuations and variations as part of the commercial function.
• Support commercial decisions on projects across the UK.
