Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its highways and infrastructure team in North Yorkshire on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for the commercial delivery of a portfolio of schemes, ensuring procurement, cost control and final accounts are managed effectively.

The role offers a clear progression path, NEC contract exposure (NEC4 desirable), and mentoring from senior QS leaders.

• Experience in highways, civil engineering, groundworks or surfacing.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the commercial delivery of a portfolio of highways projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure schemes are delivered successfully from procurement through to final account.

Working under NEC contracts, you'll play a key role in cost management, subcontractor administration, forecasting and financial reporting, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience within highways, civil engineering, groundworks or surfacing.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC4 desirable).
• HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
