A requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join the North of Scotland commercial team of a multi‑award‑winning developer.

The QS will manage all cost control procedures in line with group policies, including budgeting, valuations, and cost reconciliation. The role involves preparing accurate reports, tenders and subcontractor procurement, and overseeing commercial tasks on large developments. The position requires maintaining budget control, leading value engineering, and ensuring compliance with regulations and codes of practice.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards is essential to deliver projects within budget and achieve best value. Mid‑level QS’s will be considered or Assistant QS’s with the desire to develop their professional skills and progress. It is beneficial for applicants to have experience within a housing developer but it’s not essential; applicants from PQS are also encouraged.
