Job summary

Solum Assets Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for civil engineering and groundworks packages in South Wales. The role involves managing cost controls and cost reporting on multiple projects valued around £2m–£4m, with site-based work along the M4 Corridor and office work near Cardiff.

The ideal candidate has experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor and can work autonomously while coordinating with the Commercial Manager and blue-chip clients.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cost controls on civil engineering projects.
• Ability to prepare cost reports and budgets.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost controls and cost reporting on 2-3 civil engineering projects.
• Maintain workload and responsibilities across sites and office in South Wales.
• Report to Commercial Manager and coordinate with clients.

PERMANENT Salary £50,000 - £85,000 depending on experience

Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor needed to mange the cost controls and cost reporting on between 2-3 civil engineering projects, each valued at circa £2m - £4m

Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor should be self sufficient and be able to manage their own workload and responsibilities. A mixture of site based locations along the M4 Corridor in South Wales, and of course office working near Cardiff
