Job description

Our client is a world-renowned law firm who typically act for UHNW individuals on high‑profile and law‑changing cases, using bespoke strategic solutions to make the law work for our clients in substantial and complex legal cases.

Their commercial team comprises of individuals from top academic institutions with stellar and diverse backgrounds, ranging from previous experience in strategy consulting to managing AI startups. The common threads are sheer intellect coupled with a relentless drive to achieve real results.

They are in a phase of expansion. They have recently opened two international offices and they continue to grow through pioneering marketing models and bold business strategies. They are aan innovative and digitally driven B2C firm, recognised for our unique structure and marketing‑led approach to client acquisition.

This is not a marketing role. Or at least it’s not ‘marketing’ in the sense you may know it. This is a pure analyst role. You will not be spending your time writing straplines, designing logos or thinking about tone of voice. You will spend your time analysing large, complex data sets, peering under the hood of the Google algorithm and both generating and actioning recommendations that have genuine business impact. The fact that the data you will be analysing is marketing data is entirely secondary and something that can and will be learned on the job.

The team is run less like a typical marketing team and more like a top‑tier strategy consulting practice. The reason they are so successful is through years of experience perfecting their data‑driven, analytical approach in the world of family law digital marketing.

The ideal candidate will have a relentless focus on the hundreds of quantitative signals which they monitor across multiple tools and interfaces. They will be able to cut through the noise, separate the signals that matter from the ones that don’t and turn them into actionable recommendations. This role will directly shape investment decisions and, over time, grow in complexity and responsibility as we scale our international marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyse marketing and enquiry data to identify what drives client acquisition, and report findings that shape spend and strategy.
  • Track and interpret channel performance across paid search, SEO, and the website, flagging under‑ and over‑performance and its likely cause.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends and assess their implications for our marketing.
  • Work closely with our data team to build and maintain the dashboards and reporting that give the team a live view of performance, with a particular focus on leading indicators and early warning systems.
  • Design and measure tests across landing pages, ad copy, and targeting, and quantify what works.
  • Work with our external agency partners and internal stakeholders, holding delivery to account against the numbers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong degree‑level education (ideally 1st class degree) from a top‑tier university, ideally in a numerate or analytical discipline and A* or A at Maths A‑level.
  • Experience in an analytical, data‑focused role. Neither a marketing specialism nor a legal specialism is required.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Genuinely enjoys working with data and finding the story in it.
  • Able to own analytical projects end to end and deliver on time.
  • Commercially minded, connecting the analysis back to decisions and revenue.
  • Comfortable with rapid decision making and a flat structure.
  • Works with high autonomy alongside an exceptionally bright team.
  • Driven, positive, and unafraid of critique.
SKILLS
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with a proven track record.
  • Advanced Excel, confident building models and analysis from raw data.
  • Experience with data visualisation software (Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar) preferred.
  • Ability to effectively use AI tools to support the analysis and synthesis of large data sets.
  • Strong attention to detail and high quality of work.
