Job summary

Deutsche Bank is offering an Internship Programme in London for post-graduate quantitative students. You will gain hands-on experience across our FIC desks, learning how to apply statistical and machine learning methods to trading systems and client interactions.

You will work with leading teams on research projects, sometimes as co-supervised theses, and have opportunities to advance your quantitative skills through real-life applications and collaboration across the bank.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate MSc or PhD in a quantitative subject (maths, engineering, physics, economics or finance)
• Outstanding academic achievement and ongoing high work-rate in a collaborative banking environment
• Strong modelling/statistics interest and modern machine learning methods
• Programming with a general-purpose computing language (Python, R, MATLAB); some C/C++ experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Gain on-the-job experience through real projects and supervision
• Work on projects using statistical and ML methods to support trading desks
• Contribute to development and optimisation of trading-related tools and models
