Job summary

UBS in London is seeking a Quant/AI Developer to design, build and deliver production AI-enabled solutions across Global Markets. You will design, implement, and productionize quantitative models, and collaborate with Trading, Structuring and Sales to launch AI-powered solutions.

You’ll work in UBS’s Quant Analytics team, building models and workflows on the ACQA platform while closely coordinating with IT, Risk, and other global partners.

Qualifications

• Ambitious, intellectually curious, and eager to solve practical problems.
• Proficient in Python with production experience.
• Able to communicate ideas clearly and build global relationships.
• Strong analytical and architectural design skills for front-office work.
• Academic background in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM.
• Curious about applying AI to improve workflows with sound judgment and risk awareness.
• Nice to have: AI/ML techniques knowledge with production experience.
• Nice to have: experience with agentic design (harnesses) and MCP servers.
• Nice to have: data fundamentals with NumPy, Polars, SciPy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of quantitative models and analytics across the Global Markets business.
• Play a key role in designing and implementing the next generation of AI-powered systems, partnering with Trading, Structuring and Sales from idea generation through to production launch.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Trading, Structuring, Sales, Quant, IT, and Risk partners in London and across regions.
• Work within UBS’s Quant Analytics team to develop models, applications, and workflows on the ACQA platform.
