Job summary

UBS is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join the ACQA Quants team supporting Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS). You will design analytics, build AI-enabled tools, and collaborate with Trading, Structuring, Sales, Risk, and Technology across global markets.

This role applies modern quantitative methods and AI in production environments while gaining exposure to systematic investment strategies and QIS workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative analyst or related role.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade analytics, automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience translating requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Understanding of derivatives, risk management, and QIS workflows.
• Strong Python development and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with AI: LLMs, RAG, MCP, agentic AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support quantitative analytics, applications, and automation solutions.
• Partner with QIS business to understand requirements and rapidly deliver impactful solutions.
• Build AI-enabled applications leveraging LLMs, Agentic AI architectures, MCP, RAG, and ML techniques.
• Develop tools supporting QIS strategy management, monitoring, and hedging activities.
• Automate and industrialise QIS strategy workflows, calculations, controls, and processes.
• Collaborate with Quant, Trading, Structuring, Sales, Risk, and Technology teams globally.
