Job summary

Qualifications

• Practical experience or interest in applying AI across software engineering, automation, analytics or trading workflows.
• Automated testing approach to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices to improve delivery and support.

Responsibilities

• Help design and deliver our global equity options RFQ, auto-pricing and electronic trading platform.
• Translate complex business/regulatory requirements into automated solutions with business users and senior colleagues.
• Use AI to automate business flows and surface analytics and signals in the platform.
• Apply software engineering practices to ensure quality, security, reliability and compliance of solutions.
• Collaborate with the global team to evolve the platform, build observability, monitor production health, and contribute to risk remediation.
• Share AI, technical and domain knowledge with the team and contribute to engineering culture.

We’re looking for a new teammate with practical AI skills to help advance our Equity Derivatives platform. In this role, you will contribute to:

• Help design and deliver our new global equity options RFQ, auto-pricing and electronic trading platform
• Work with business users and senior colleagues to translate complex business and regulatory requirements, manual processes and trading flows into automated solutions
• Use AI to help automate business flows and deliver analytics and signals into the platform
• Apply a broad range of software engineering practices to ensure the quality, security, reliability and compliance of our solutions, focusing on both functional and non-functional needs
• Work closely with the global team to evolve the platform, build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents and contribute to remediation of risks and issues
• Share AI, technical and domain knowledge with the team, learn from colleagues and contribute to our engineering culture and internal communities

The team

You’ll work in the Principal Algorithmic Trading Equity Derivatives crew. You will be part of a global development team, working closely with the front office and experienced colleagues to build and support user-facing sales and trading applications.

Your Skills And Experience

• Experience in the Equity Derivatives asset class, or a clear interest in developing this knowledge
• Solid Java software development skills, ideally with exposure to real-time pricing systems
• Practical experience or clear interest in applying AI across software engineering, automation, analytics or trading workflows
• Take an automated approach to testing to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and a willingness to help improve delivery, deployment and support capabilities
• A clear communicator who is comfortable working with business users and keen to build front-office and product knowledge
• Experience working as part of a collaborative development team
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
