Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in Quality, Technical or R&D roles.
• Experience in auditing and resolving non-conformances.
• IT literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Renew audit pack documentation and new supplier approvals.
• Evaluate risk assessments related to suppliers.
• Participate in HACCP meetings.

Quality Technologist (Full-time, Permanent)

Hybrid - 2 office days in Central London

What does Quality Technologist mean at Prinova?

Prinova is a leading global source for high-quality ingredients for food & beverage, health & nutrition, animal nutrition, flavour & fragrance, and personal care industries worldwide. We are the largest provider of Vitamin C, B Vitamins and Amino Acids.

The role is within our Supplier Audit Pack Quality team and involves renewal of audit pack documents and new supplier approvals. Other duties may be assigned to provide day-to-day support to the quality department.

What to expect?

Supplier monitoring and renewing the audit packs documentation, this includes:

• Renewal of audit packs according to Prinova Requirements (food and feed products)
• Approval of New suppliers
• Evaluate Risk Assessment
• Navigate within the internal system (FBSS, Docuware, ADW)
• Animal feed approval
• Organic Approval
• Participate in HACCP meetings
• Approve toll manufacturing orders and resolve related issues and queries
• Respond to technical queries from customers & suppliers related to our ingredients, as well as quality and food safety, etc
• Execute & participate in projects identified by the business for a continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
• Review blocked inventory
  
  

Does this sound like you?

• Great understanding of Quality (Technical) requirements and standards of the food industry - HACCP, BRC Food or Agents and Brokers
• Knowledge of FAMI-QS (animal feed), Organic / BIO, Kosher, Halal, IFS Logistics is beneficial
• Over 3 years of experience in a Quality, Technical or R&D role in the Food, Ingredients or Supplements industry
• Some experience in auditing
• Some experience in resolving non-conformances or complaints
• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Excel is a must
• Experience working with retail online specification systems - QADEX, Hamilton Grant,etc
• Food legislation / Food labelling training or understanding is essential.
• Has a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure to tight timelines.
