Job summary

Yeo Valley Organic in Paignton is seeking a Quality Technologist to champion quality culture across our site. You will apply your knowledge to advise stakeholders and uphold food safety and quality in production.

This hands-on role requires understanding of processing parameters, HACCP qualifications, and strong communication; you'll support audits, improvements, and engage with teams while benefiting from our pension, life cover, and cycle-to-work schemes.

Job description

• As a Quality Technologist at Blagdon, you'll be a champion of quality culture across our site. Upholding legal, customer and consumers expectations, ensuring we are operating in a true quality, food safety focused, working environment.
• You'll be applying your experience and learned knowledge to provide advice and guidance to stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting and coaching all site functions on food safety and quality aspects of production. You will be a catalyst for facilitating solutions and improvements across site, engaging with all key stakeholders and enabling us to drive forward our food safety and quality culture.
• This role is Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

• A good understanding of food processing parameters and controls, and experience in food manufacture is essential.
• Ideally you will have a science based degree or demonstrable experience in a similar role, and a passion for positive change and team work.
• Internal audit qualification and experience.
• An ability to communicate clearly.
• Ideally you would have HACCP level 4 or 3, along with either a 3rd party audit or internal auditing qualification.
• This is a very hands on role, so people skills are key to the success of this new and exciting position.
