Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd in Blagdon is seeking a Quality Technologist to champion quality culture across our site, uphold food safety and regulatory standards, and support production teams. You will apply your knowledge to advise stakeholders, drive improvements in quality controls, and lead site-wide food safety initiatives.

You will work within a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of food processing parameters and controls.
• Science-based degree or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Experience with HACCP levels 3/4 or auditing qualifications preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
• Hands-on role requiring people skills and collaborative mindset.

So, what will I be doing?

• As a Quality Technologist at Blagdon, you'll be a champion of quality culture across our site. Upholding legal, customer and consumers expectations, ensuring we are operating in a true quality, food safety focused, working environment.

• You’ll be applying your experience and learned knowledge to provide advice and guidance to stakeholders across the business.

• Supporting and coaching all site functions on food safety and quality aspects of production. You will be a catalyst for facilitating solutions and improvements across site, engaging with all key stakeholders and enabling us to drive forward our food safety and quality culture.

• This role is Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

• - A good understanding of food processing parameters and controls, and experience in food manufacture is essential.
• - Ideally you will have a science based degree or demonstrable experience in a similar role, and a passion for positive change and team work.
• - Internal audit qualification and experience.
• - An ability to communicate clearly.
• Ideally you would have HACCP level 4 or 3, along with with either a 3rd party audit or internal auditing qualification.
• This is a very hands on role, so people skills are key to the success of this new and exciting position.
