Job summary

Pertemps Redditch Industrial is recruiting a Quality Technician to support a manufacturer of high-precision fabricated and machined metal components for aerospace, defence and power generation. The role covers 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques, and operating 3D optical scanners and CMM equipment.

The successful candidate will populate the inspection database with dimensions, raise rejects, capture containment, and prepare FAIR packs, working closely with engineering to

Qualifications

Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (CAD).
Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection operations using 3D Optical scanners.
Perform 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques.
Populate the inspection database with relevant dimensions.
Sentencing parts on optical systems (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM.
Support internal non-conformance processes – raise rejects and capture containment.
Liaise with engineering to ensure smooth transition of new products.
Complete FAIR packs.
