Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our busy manufacturing environment in Leeds. This hands-on role focuses on dimensional inspection and the investigation of quality issues through effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

The successful candidate will operate CMM equipment and manual measuring tools, read engineering drawings and tolerances, and perform first-off, in-process and final inspections while maintaining accurate quality records

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as Quality Technician/Quality Inspector or similar in manufacturing.
• Experience using CMM and manual measuring equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

• Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Identify and document non-conformances.

You’ll have previous experience within a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector or similar manufacturing role, with hands-on experience using CMM and manual measuring equipment.

You’ll be confident interpreting engineering drawings and, importantly, able to go beyond identifying defects by finding the root cause and putting corrective actions in place.
